Aquila Is The Right White For This Chic NYC Apartment

When Tara Benet Design was crafting the interiors for a New York City client, wide plank flooring from Carlisle was a clear choice. Tara Benet had worked with Carlisle on several other projects and she knew her client would find the perfect flooring with just the right amount of white for her chic NYC residence.  After a visit to the NYC showroom, the designer and her client selected Aquila, a White Oak flooring with a sheer, vanilla-toned finish. The light finish provided the bright, airy feeling that Tara and her client wanted, while still allowing the grain and undertones of the wood to show through.  The result is a floor that makes spaces look larger and brighter, without sacrificing the organic ambiance of wood.
